The custodiagnostic software is of software version V4.0 protected by a Codemeter license key. it could be a hardware dongle as shown below, or a Software (CmAct) License.
The Dongle could be placed on the local PC or on the server.
Placement of the dongle on the server
If you place the dongle on the server on which custo diagnostic is installed the drivers for the dongle are already installed.
In case a dongle is not recognized you can install the drivers as shown in this Video make sure you install it as a Administrator
The following settings should be done in the Codemeter program on the server, see this Video for the correct network port and and the server setting. Make sure the Firewall is switched off

What license is the dongle activated for
You can always check the license number by using the number on the hardware key as shown on this Video and than see for which the license is activated in this Video
