  1. Open the CodeMeter Control Center and find the appropriate (to be deleted) CmAct license. Remember the serial number of this license.

  2. Open a command prompt window (cmd.exe)
    Its a good idea to open the command prompt window with administration rights (Right mouse clickt → "run as Administrator")

  3. Change the active folder to the bin-Directory of the installed CodeMeter software. The CodeMeter software is normally installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime".
    (Command: cd "\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin")

  4. Enter the instruction:
    "cmucmu32.exe --delete-cmact-license --serial xxxxx-xxxxxx"
    Please replace the xxxxx-xxxxxx with the real serial number you found in the CodeMeter Control Center.
    Press Enter.
