Introduction:

The article describes the configuration of comRF for the Connection  to guard.

There are 2 different types of comRF sticks:

  • Standard comRF , Example for Declaration on the nameplate on the device "custo comRF ER2012 00584"
  • comRF Long range (higher radio rangeExample for Declaration on the nameplate on the device "custo com RF LR ERL2016 00084", "LR" means Long

The set up of the radio setting takes place only once and is then valid for all comRF sticks. The connection between guard and COMRF is automatically created at the start of the "New Exercise" button.
For a stable radio quality an N + 1 connection is recommended, that means for every training place a comRF stick plus an additional one.
Example: 8 training places require 9 comRF sticks.

When using USB hubs (more than 2 comRF), it is important to use them with active power supply and to use USB cables with 1m or more active USB cables!!

For Attention!!

The radio range and quality depends on several points:

  • guard and comRF must always have line of sight
  • in large rooms, the comRF are fixed to the ceiling
