custo diagnostic 5.8 is a medical device that technically consists of two parts (server and client), but is still treated like a single medical device.
This means that the combination of client and server on a computer or within a network can only ever be operated with the same version number.
This applies to the entire version number.
Example: Only "custo diagnostic client 5.8.2" may be operated on a "custo diagnostic server 5.8.2".
All other combinations are not permitted.
Separate compatibility apply to systems that are connected via RDT (e.g. custo secure) or satellite systems.

Satellites: Satellite Server and Satellite Clients should shall have the same major version (eg. 5.58.x or 5.69.x or 5.710.x etc.).
RDT Systems: The RDT central evaluation centre must have always the highest version in the network. RDT clients can be have the same or lower version than the RDT centralevaluation centre.
Please Note:
custo diagnostic client and custo diagnostic server can also be updated independent from each other. You can find above an overview which client is compatible with which server.
The compatibility defines a best-of order of the update. For example 5.0.7 -> 5.2:
- First: Update First update the server -> because the "old" clients also can work intermittently with the new serverThen update the clients
- Second: Update the clients
If you update the system please do not let the customer working with the system until his custo diagnostic client has been updated to the same version as the custo diagnostic server.
Compatibility between "custo diagnostic client 5.6.x" and "custo diagnostic server 5.8.x"
For special situations (e.g. System Updates in an Hospital Environment) we provide a guaranteed compatibility between the custo diagnostic client 5.6.x and custo diagnostic server 5.8.x.
This allow the customer and the medical technicians to run a custo diagnostic system in this special condition for a longer time in production environments.
