The Cortex Setup has 4 Setup-Options:

1. Single PC (standard) => see below in the manual Chapter 4.1 page 12: Metasoft Studion is only installed on one Workstation (no network connection)

       2. Network - Server (server installation) => see below in the manual Chapter 4.2.1  page 16

The Server is prepared for the use of Metasoft Studio on the network and Metasoft Studio  database is installed on the network

after the installation, we have the Client-Setup in the folder c:\MSStudioClientSetup (for example)

in the "MSSClientSetup.ini" is the Serverinformation for the Client (for example):

        3. Network - Workstation (client installation)  => see below in the manual Chapter 4.2.2  page 19:  MetaSoft Studio is installed on a workstation with access to the MetaSoft Studio database installed on the network

alternate:

install with the "MSStudioClientSetup" with "MSSClientSetup.ini" after the Networkinstallation.

In the folder, "C:\ProgramData\Cortex\MSStudio", i can find  the Networkdatabase and Keyinformation in the file  "MSSDBSettings.xml"

(1) Name from the network PC or Server (alternate IP adress), (2) Name from Network PC or server (alternate IP adress) => how can find the Wibukey Server dongle, (3) central Database Path (always the local path =>no folder charing necessary, management takes place over the Firebird-Server)

       4. Network Server & Client => see below in the manual Chapter 4.3.  page 23: MetaSoft Studio network licenses can then be installed on other worksation workstation s connected to the network.

In this case, you may need to procure the "Expansion sites" network license!
