Introduction

The article discribes the Workflow and the configuration of the file based interface from certain manufacturers (see list), for Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing.
custo diagnostic is always the master and the Cardio Pulmonary Exercise System is slave. That means: This Cardio Pulmonary Exercise System can only be controlled by custo diagnostic!

Connection through shared File "ergospir.dat"

custo diagnostic writes the parameters every 5 seconds during the Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Test to the text file "ergospir.dat".
The path to this file can be configured.

Path

Default: C:\Temp\ergospir.dat
The path can be configured in the file "win.ini" file in the Windows Directory. You have to add this Section:

[CAS_RECORD]
SpiroDirectory=C:\\Temp

Configuration custo diagnostic

• Start custo diagnostic
• Go to Settings
• Go to System (1)
• Click on System (2)
• Click on Workstation (3)
• Select th apropriate Interface at Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (for example: Ganshorn (LF8.5G)) (4)

Workflow to Run a Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing (Start from custo diagnostic)

1. Start the Cardio Pulmonary Exercise System first
2. Start custo diagnostic
3. Open "Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing"
4. Select the Patient
5. Select the Testing Profile
6. Click "Start"
7. When switching to the Monitoring page in custo diagnostic, the patient data will be transferred to the Cardio Pulmonary Exercise System
8. Start the Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing in custo diagnostic
