Explanation of "Repair Status"
If the Repair Status is "
" a device can be repaired physically as long as all components are still available. The customer receives back the original, repaired, device.
If the Repair Status is "
" a device cannot be repaired physically, e.g. because some components are obsolete. But in the most cases (if an "alternative Device" is announced) the "repair" can be made with an exchange to an alternate device against a special price. The customer receives a brand new device with the same functionality (Important is that software compatibility must be checked beforehand).
