How to build a custo router you can read here.

Initial Operation

Connect the card reader and the network cable with custo router and reconnect custo router to the power supply system. Store all the devices in a way that no connection can be separated unintentionally. Only the card reader needs to remain on top of the table, all other devices can be “hidden”. However, please con-ceive the power supply in a way that it can be separated manually in case of emergency, in order to restart the custo router.

Always wait at least 15 seconds after plugging in the power supply, until the system is ready for operation.

Make the following settings in custo diagnostic:

  1. Create a directory in the file system of the computer which is writeable for the user, on the local hard disk, for example: “C:\Temp\multiday-card” and enter this directory in the Holter ECG settings of the custo multiday card: (This directory serves as local “Exchange directory” between custo router and custo diagnostic.)

  2. Configure the following settings in the CSC:
    "CSC->Langzeit-EKG\Service\CustoRouterHostName": IPv4 address of custo router
    (Absolutely enter the IPv4 address, not the DNS name!)

    "CSC->Langzeit-EKG\Service\CustoRouterPort": Port of custo router
    (is set on 8090 by default – is to remain like that.)

    "CSC->Langzeit-EKG\Service\UseCustoRouter": true

    These settings are user-specific and must therefore be configured for each custo diagnostic user who downloads data from or starts the custo multiday card.

  3. Restart custo manager

Hints for Use

Currently, the custo router is only suited for downloading data from / starting custo multiday card. The service functions of custo multiday card are NOT operated via custo router. For the user the process of downloading data and starting custo multiday card in custo diagnostic, as it has been so far, does not change. When starting custo multiday card, the first 128MB of the card’s memory are overwritten (formatted), so that no old data remain there. That is why starting custo multiday card takes longer than normally, approx-imately 20 seconds longer. The card reader displays the reading or writing process from/to the card via LED. Dialogue boxes in custo diagnostic report successes or failures of processes to the user.
