Introduction
This article describes how to setup demo mode in cardiac rehab for 8 exercise stations. Based on these settings, a custo guard can also be set up for demonstration purposes for a specific exercise station.
Configuration
For the demo mode two steps are necessary. These are:
- Configure demo ergometer in the system settings
- Setup demo mode for 8 exercise stations
- Further setting for demo mode
Configuaration of demo ergometers
Go to the system settings page and select the first ergometer.
On the right side of the setting
- select the ec3000 device
- activate the simulation
- activate ECG transmission
- select any serial interface
The same serial interface can be selected for each device. If no serial interface is available, a serial to USB converter can be temporarily connected in order to select an interface. After this setting the USB Adapter is no longer needed.
Repeat these steps for ergometers 1 to 8.
The last step is to save the settings for the ergometers.
Setup demo mode for 8 exercise stations
Go to the rehab connection settings page and select 8 exercise stations and save your settings.
In the 2nd step the ergometers and the ECG source must be configured for all exercise stations.
First select the exercise statio (1). Then click on exercise device (2) in the device list and then select the suitable device from the list of devices (3). Exercise station 1 should be assigned device 1 and so on. Then activate the automatic start an demo mode.
Repeat these steps for exercise stations 1 to 8.
Finally, all settings must be saved by pressing the Save button in the lower left corner.
Additional demo option with a custo guard
A com RF must be available for this option to ensure communication with custo guard.
If you want to configure an additional custo guard for a specific exercise station, select this station number (1) and click on ECG (2). The next step is to select custo guard from the list of ECG devices (3).
As last step you have to select custo guard for this training station. Press custo guard allocation (4) and select custo guard from the combo box (5) in the dialog for the exercise stations.
If warning messages appear when the dialog is closed, they can always be confirmed with no. All settings must be saved by pressing the Save button in the lower left corner.
