In case a customer would like to install a different PDF printer than the custo PDF printer which standard will be installed with the custo med "custo diagnostic" software you have to make the following changes.
As an example we have downloaded the free Bullzip PDF printer and will go through the procedure step by step. ( The Bullzip PDF printer can be downloaded from http://www.bullzip.com/)
Before we setup the external PDF printer you have to understand how it works. The external PDF printer has to write the PDF in a temporary folder. The custo diagnostic software will read the file from the temporary directory and export the PDF file to a location that your customer would like.
Start the custo diagnostic software, choose examinations, now select settings. Select Export after that select PDF. Make the following settings under "Settings of PDF printers" choose Other for the Type of PDF printer. Choose a file name and the location where the temporary PDF file can be stored. Make sure you save the changes.
Set the printer for PDF export to the Bullzip PDF Printer and save the settings.
In this example we will set the PDF export up for resting ECG. Open the settings from Resting ECG and select Export and Data export.
Choose for Graphs, PDF Files and select "Set PDF printout" Make sure you save the changes.
Now select what your customer would like to print. Choose Print and select Content. Select as Printout Type "PDF Export"
Choose the selected Print outs. Make sure you save the changes.
If the custo diagnostic software has been setup we have to make some changes to the PDF printer software ( In the example here the Bullzip PDF writer)
Set the temporary directory as location where the PDF printer stores the PDF file. The custo diagnostic program will take the PDF file from there and export to the location that has been entered in the custo diagnostic program.
If you do not want that after each test the PDF file is opened make the following selections in the Bullzip program.
Press OK to safe the changes.
Restart custo diagnostic to let the changes take effect.
