control test 500ml

If you select <control test 500ml> from the pulldown menu you have to connect the 500 ml dead volume to the screen recorder. Make sure that the dead volume has ambient temperature. If it does not have it acclimatized for at least half an hour.

Connect the hand below and the 500 ml dead volume with a T-tube to the screen recorder.

The 500 ml control test, is a test in which the functionality from the bleeding valve will be tested.

The pressure will be pump up till 210 mmHg. When pressure has reached the 210 mmHg the pump will stop. The bleeding valve will release the pressure with a deflation rate of 5 mmHg/sec.

From 210 mmHg till 0 mmHg will take approximately 42 seconds. If the bleeding valve functions properly the red line should be shown in the green area. The green area are the tolerances.

After each test the screen recorder needs a reset. A reset can be performed by using the event button or to restart the screen recorder.
