Introduction

This article describes how to change the search time of the custo guard and is only relevant if custo guard is used as ECG source.

General

If the custo guard is used as an ECG source, the automatic search for the custo guard set for the exercise station is triggered at the latest when a patient is placed on a exercise station. As soon as the search is successful, the patient's ECG is displayed. With the setting described here you can influence how long a custo gaurd should be searched automatically.
The automatic search takes place when the patient is placed, or if the custo guard, for whatever reason, suddenly "disappears". Since communication with the custo guard is done by radio, it can sometimes happen that a custo guard is no longer accessible, e.g. because the patient shields the custo guard with crossed arms or because it leaves the training room for a short time.
The custo diagnotic system automatically searches for the custo guard only for a certain period of time. Within this time the search is signalled by an alarm state and is also recognizable by the fact that no ECG is displayed any more. After the preset search time (default is 5 minutes) has elapsed, the automatic search stops. Under certain circumstances it makes sense to increase or decrease this preset search time.

Settings

Settings are located in  Settings → Reha → General → Menu/Functions → Additinal settinfs for exercise stations. Don't forget to scroll down because setting can only be found further down in the list.

The automatic search time can be selected in the range 1 to 3600 seconds (this corresponds to one hour).
