During the installation you have the possibility to choose the location where you would like to install the H2 Database.

In case you are not satisfied with the installed location you can always decide to move the Datebase. But there are some steps that you have to be taken care of.

First of all you have to stop the custo diagnostic server. In case you do not know how to do this, see for a an instruction in this VIDEO

Now the custo diagnostic server is stopped, it is save to move the H2 Database.

It is strongly recommended that the NEW location of the Database is a local drive and NOT an network drive.

In our example we move the H2 Database from drive C:\diagserverdata to D:\diagserverdata

  • Open the file diag.properties which is default installed in C:\Program Files\custo diagnostic server\conf

  • Change the locations where the diagserverdata is pointing to from C: to D:

  • Save the file.
  • Copy the files from the location C:\diagserverdata to D:\diagserverdata
  • Restart the custo diagnostic server
  • Start custo diagnostic client.
  • When every thing is working well you can remove the copy on the location C:\diagserverdata

  • No labels
