To start a spirometry test in custo diagnostic, click on Examinations and select. Spirometr.
Select New Spirometry and choose or enter a patient.
Choose the predicted value author and start the spirometry test.
The test subject or patient must place the mouthpiece, attached to the spirometer, in his/her mouth and place a nose clip on his/her nose, so that all of the air will go into the spirometer.
After breathing normally the test subject or patient should slowly blow out until his/her lungs are empty.
Then the test subject or patient has to take a big, deep breath to fill up his/her lungs completely.
As soon as his/her lungs are full, he/she has to blow out as hard and as fast as he/she can until his/her lungs are absolutely empty.
Repeat the test until there are three good efforts.
